Chambers Bar was established in November 2006 on Washington St. in the heart of Cork City. Facing the iconic Cork Courthouse to which our name is a nod to. We are a large disco bar that is a favourite haunt of the LGBTQI+ community in Cork. Over the last 15 years, we have welcomed our LGBT brothers and sisters from the four corners of the globe. With large panoramic windows to the front, hang decadent chandeliers and our LGBT+ flags proudly flying, Chambers Bar certainly looks the part from the outside.

Inside the bar is friendly, with a great relaxed atmosphere during the late afternoon. At night, the party starts and the back dance floor gets busy. Bingo, Karaoke, and T-dances are regular events here.

Chambers is very proud to be the home of drag in Cork city with nightly drag shows every Thursday to Sunday. Our resident quartet of Mia Gold, Letycha LeSynn, Nettles and Liam Bee are known for their legendary lip-syncs, death drops and pulling the odd random drinker and audience members up on stage for all kinds of fun games and frolics. Our stage and drag queens form the heart of Chambers bar and did we mention our colourful cocktails, infamous rainbow rounds, legendary dancefloor, Whatever, vibe you are fancying, rest assured there is something for everyone in the number one LGBTQ+ bar in Munster.
